It was a setup.

The video purporting to show Vice President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley snorting cocaine was preplanned by a man trying to get rich selling the tape, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The man, who is apparently a friend of Ashley’s, even bought the cocaine and the hidden camera, our investigation has uncovered.

The Vice President has been one of this country’s leading warriors in the fight against drugs and helped create the Drug Czar post. But scandal exploded around him in the past few days when RadarOnline.com uncovered that a man was hawking a tape that shows a cocaine-snorting woman who looks identical to Biden’s 27-year-old daughter. The seller represented that the woman is Ashley Biden and hired a Washington, D.C. law firm to help him sell the tape.

Biden has not commented and his daughter has been unreachable.

RadarOnline.com viewed the tape but did not offer to purchase it. The man who made the tape shopped it to several media outlets but did not receive any written offers, we’ve learned.

Now, RadarOnline.com has discovered that the woman who is alleged to be Ashley Biden was set up in an elaborate plot by her “friend.” The man bought cocaine and a hidden camera and brought the cocaine to a party.

He then made sure that he was in correct position to film her when she snorted the drugs.

The seller had planned to get the woman alleged to be Ashley on tape doing drugs for at least three weeks. The tape was shot this year.

It is clear from the tape that the woman said to be Ashley Biden does not know she is being filmed.

Palin picks Grussendorf for Juneau Senate seat

JUNEAU — Gov. Sarah Palin has appointed legislative aide Tim Grussendorf to the state Senate seat that opened when Juneau Democrat Kim Elton resigned. It’s a controversial pick that Grussendorf’s own party says it will try to block.

Palin had to pick a Democrat from Juneau for the seat under state law. But Grussendorf was a registered Republican until just weeks ago, then switched to being a Democrat to qualify for the appointment. Grussendorf now needs a majority vote of the nine Democrats in the state Senate to approve his appointment.

Juneau Democratic Party officials want state House Minority Leader Beth Kerttula to get the Senate seat instead and are rallying party leaders statewide.

Is there a limit to how unethical Sarah Palin is?

Bobby Jindal Wants Obama to Fail, Kinda.

WASHINGTON — Since Rush Limbaugh said he wants President Obama to fail, Republicans have been asked repeatedly if they share the sentiment.

Last night, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, unprompted, offered his answer.

“It depends on what he’s trying to do,” Jindal told a crowd of about 1,200 Republicans at the National Building Museum, gathered for a fundraiser for the National Republican Campaign Committee, which supports GOP candidates running for Congress. Jindal spoke just minutes before President Obama took to the podium for his nationally televised prime-time news conference.

God I love this man! No homo. I seriously thinnk he is dumber than Palin! After seeing all the controversy surrounding Rush Limbaugh’s statements, the worst political hack wouldn’t touch that question. But good old Bobby would! He isn’t afraid of volcanoes, why would he be afraid of being mocked on every news show tonight? Except Fox that is.

Palin pissed off McCain Camp.

I am bowing my head, on the inside.

CNN reports that former McCain/Palin staffers are now very unhappy with Sarah Palin and her latest antic: Declaring at an Alaska GOP dinner last week that none of her staffers had been the sort of people she would want to pray with.

“So I’m looking around for somebody to pray with, I just need maybe a little help, maybe a little extra,” said Palin. “And the McCain campaign, love ‘em, you know, they’re a lot of people around me, but nobody I could find that I wanted to hold hands with and pray.”

One anonymous staffer expressed his outrage to CNN. “It’s about us people who were on the plane, who showed extreme loyalty to Palin, continually getting thrown under the bus or slapped in the face by her comments, whether she means it or not,” the staffer said, adding that this is the kind of thing that would “cause you to question not only your loyalty but her judgment as a leader.”

This whole thing might have gone unnoticed, but for one thing: The Alaska GOP has posted the entire speech on YouTube.

New Palin Ethics Complaint, 2 in a week!

The Anchorage Daily News reports that an ethics complaint has been filed against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, alleging she used her position to promote her own financial interests with the gear she wore to this year’s Iron Dog race. It’s the second ethics complaint against Palin in a week.

Arctic Cat sponsors Palin’s husband, Todd, in the world’s longest snow machine race, Big Lake to Nome to Fairbanks.

Linda Kellen Biegel, said in her complaint that Palin “improperly used her position and state resources to serve her personal financial interests by being a walking billboard for Arctic Cat, a private for-profit company and family business sponsor.”

Yeah it’s a BS complaint, but as a Palintologist I must keep you informed.

Michael Steele for President!

Emerging from his self-imposed cone of silence, RNC Chairman Michael Steele gave an interview Wednesday in which he said he would consider a run for president and claimed to have strategically planned his recent confrontation with radio talk host Rush Limbaugh.

Speaking to CNN’s Don Lemon, Steele said he “would think about” running for the White House but only if “that is where God wants me to be at that time.”
