It’s interesting that Operation Rescue had a “TillerWatch” set up on their website, yet they are quick to deny blame. What did you think would happen, OR?

Will the right-winged religious nutjobs ever learn to stay out of our lives and our bedrooms?

WICHITA, Kansas — Dr. George Tiller, a Kansas doctor whose clinic received national attention for performing late-term abortions, was shot to death as he entered his Wichita church on Sunday.

“Members of the congregation who were inside the sanctuary at the time of the shooting were being kept inside the church by police,” the Wichita Eagle reported, “and those arriving were being ushered into the parking lot.”

Now they’ve done it… The Church of Scientology has managed to piss off two of the most powerful entities on the web… Anonymous and Wikipedia.  Who’s next, L. Ron? Oprah?

Wikipedia has voted to ban all ip’s owned by the church and it’s associates due to less than forthcoming edits related to the cult.

Cheer up, Scientologists. At least you get to keep Tom Cruise.

Oh, wait… NVM.

Wikipedia Bans Church of Scientology Wikipedia has banned the Church of Scientology from editing any articles. It’s a punishment for repeated and deceptive editing of articles related to the controversial religion. The landmark ruling comes from the inner circle of a site that prides itself on being open and inclusive.

In a 10-1 ruling Thursday, the site’s arbitration council voted to ban users coming from all IP addresses owned by the Church of Scientology and its associates, and further banned a number of editors by name. The story was first reported by The Register.

In a statement, Byrd’s office says he was hospitalized late Friday, is being treated with antibiotics and is expected to be released in a few days. The statement says that according to doctors, the temperature spike was caused by a minor infection.

The West Virginia Democrat has been in Congress for more than a half-century. He stepped down in November as chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Ok I admit it… I only knew who Danny Gans was because every time I’ve been to Las Vegas, his name and photo was plastered all over the city and on every magazine. I didn’t even know what his act was… magic, comedy, singing… I had no clue.

I just found out today that Danny Gans was a “musical impressionist” (whatever that is) because TMZ has reported that he died. He was only 52, which is a young age to go. Especially if you’re a millionaire.
