Birther Movement = Liberal Plot?

The Birther Movement is awesome! I think it is is juist great. It shows what a bunch of racist conspiracy theorists the GOP base is. I have written articles on it, HuffPo, Chris Matthews and other left leaning sites like to parade it in front of viewers as well for the above mentioned reason. Well apparently Eric Cantor, (R) of Virginia, has figured us all out.

In a statement via his spokesman, Cantor said this. TPL

“Mr. Cantor doesn’t question the President’s citizenship, but he has serious questions about the President’s push for government controlled healthcare, taxes on small business job creators, and a huge energy tax on middle class families. He finds it ironic that those most eager to talk about the President’s citizenship are in fact some of his biggest cheerleaders–whether it’s Chris Matthews or others on MSNBC, the Huffington Post, or camera toting liberal bloggers chasing people through the streets of Washington.”

Well the jig is up. I guess they have realized this story is awesome. I am not a birther, but I am birther-curious. I am curious how people can listen to people like Orly Taitz (Lawyer, Real Estate Agent, Dentist) and think she is out to do anything but enrich herself by feeding of off racist conspiracy theorems.

Orly? Yarly. RAWR!

Orly? Yarly. RAWR!

Ms. Taitz, who obtained her law degree from an unaccredited correspondence school is not even qualified for membership in the US Bar. She does give a hell of a root canal however.

Here is Orly getting dismantled on Colbert.

According to E! Online, the newest judge on the American Idol panel Kara DioGuardi will return for Season 9 of the show.

The jury is still out on whether or not Paula Abdul will return. But really, who cares? Unless she has another on-air drunken black-out like she did during a Fox news interview in 2007.  Now THAT was entertaining.

According to Glenn Beck, Obama “has a deep seated hatred for white people.”. Then he says he is “not saying he doesn’t like white people”. He is just a “racist” who has a “problem.”

Kanye West: I’m the New King of Pop.

Kanye West is pretty arogant. I personally think it is awesome, but I have a feeling there will be some backlash for this.

The Superficial:
“You know everyone loves and respects Michael but times change. It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King of Pop, and I’m willing to take that on. There’s nobody who can match me in sales and in Kanye West respect so it only makes sense for me to take over Michael’s crown and become the new King,” said West.

“First there was Elvis, then there was Michael, now in the 21st century it’s Kanye’s time to rule. I have nothing but respect for Michael but someone needs to pick up where he left off and there’s nobody better than me to do that. I am the new King of Pop.”

William Shatner Makes Palin’s Speech Into Poetry (VIDEO)

Is Sarah Palin secretly a beat poet? Do her words make little to no sense because she is so immersed in language and lyrics that she operates on a plane we cannot grasp? We sincerely doubt it, but that was the implication last night as William Shatner appeared on the “Tonight Show” and read Sarah’s resignation speech in his typical Shatner way, with all the lilting and soft drum beats we’ve come to expect. It was quite magical.

Prepare to Yawn – Mary Jo Buttafuoco Wrote a Book

After an inch of make-up and 1,620 hours of airbrushing, this beauty is good to go!

After an inch of make-up and 1,620 hours of airbrushing, this beauty is good to go!

Long Island dimwit Mary Jo Buttafuoco wrote a book about her “sociopathic husband” Joey Buttafuoco. It seems like it’s an advice book for women in abusive relationships, but seriously, is this woman smart enough to be giving anyone advice? I mean, Joey was having an affair with an underaged girl Amy Fisher, who shot Mary Jo in the head (allegedly with Joey’s endorsement) in 1992. Mary Jo didn’t leave the guy until 2003, and she defended the guy the whole time. JUST NOW she’s realizing that he’s a sociopath?

”In GETTING IT THROUGH MY THICK SKULL Mary Jo answers that question fully and convincingly, in light of a recent revelation. The answer is simple, yet it took almost three decades of turmoil to lead Mary Jo to one inescapable conclusion: she was married to a sociopath. And while Mary Jo’s face and story are known all over the world, she’s just one of countless women who have become similarly enmeshed with a partner who wreaks utter havoc on the lives around them. “

Daniel Bark Charged With Vehicular Homicide

Today a judge decided that Daniel Bark, the man who allegedly hit and killed American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen, will face charges of Vehicular Homicide. And what do you know… alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.

Speaking outside the courthouse afterwards, his attorney, David Glassman, said “he’s having an extremely difficult time mentally coming to terms with the fact that there’s an allegation that he caused a death.”

“My client is in a state of mind where he is going to be under suicide watch,” Glassman said. “His family is extremely distraught about what happened to the victim in this case and want to extend their condolences to her family.”

Glassman said he believes prosecutors will be alleging that alcohol was involved in the incident.

I Demand My /b/.

This weekend AT&T decided to block the 4chan /b/ forum. I have AT&T but the blockage never affected me because MY INTERNET WAS DOWN. But if I had tried to get to /b/ and found that it was blocked by my internet provider, I would have been really pissed.

“The LA Metblogs has compiled several sources that apparently confirm AT&T has blocked img.4chan at the ISP level, including reports from multiple TwitterTwitter users who cannot access 4chan and even calls to their help desk. We’ve also seen reports on Redditreddit.com. While we cannot confirm this news (or if true whether AT&T did this on purpose), it’s still a troubling report, especially if you believe this is censorship by a major ISP. The 4chan ban doesn’t seem to affect AT&T Wireless (aka your iPhone) or most regions.”

SOURCE

Eventually it looks like AT&T realized that they were no match for Anonymous, and they lifted the /b/ ban.  AT&T issued a statement regarding this matter:

“Beginning Friday, an AT&T customer was impacted by a denial-of-service attack stemming from IP addresses connected to img.4chan.org. To prevent this attack from disrupting service for the impacted AT&T customer, and to prevent the attack from spreading to impact our other customers, AT&T temporarily blocked access to the IP addresses in question for our customers. This action was in no way related to the content at img.4chan.org; our focus was on protecting our customers from malicious traffic. “

Crisis averted. Anonymous wins.
