Jay Leno’s New Show Looks Hilarious!
I’m kidding of course. The Jay Leno Show looks anything but funny. In fact, it looks like it’s going to suck right out of the gate. But what do I know? I hate Ellen and Rosie O’Donnell too and they are hugely successful.
The Jay Leno Show premiers September 14th on NBC. But don’t bother watching… just watch the commercial below and you’ll know how much it’s going to suck. And that “man on the street” bit looks stolen straight from Letterman.

Honey, that “man on the street” bit was created and perfected by Jay Leno. Obviously, for the last 17 years, you never saw an episode of The Tonight Show.
Jay Leno is waaaaaaay funnier than Letterman and Conan put together.

Dear Sweetie, I did a bit more research and it was Steve Allen who created the “man on the street” bit. Letterman pioneered Stupid Pet Tricks and Stupid Human Tricks. Leno pioneered riding the coattails of other late-night hosts and comedians.
Since Leno’s demographic is elderly women, I predict that viewership of his new show will dwindle after the next flu season.
