R.I.P. Tony Curtis

 

1950s sex-symbol Tony Curtis has died. He was 85 years old. He  died on Wednesday night at his Las Vegas area home. The preliminary cause of death is cardiac arrest

Curtis was best known for such films as ”The Defiant Ones” and “Some Like It Hot.” He was also well known as the ex-husband of “Psycho”  actress Janet Leigh and the father of actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

Daughter Jamie Lee Curtis made a statement about her late father:

“My father leaves behind a legacy of great performances in movies and in his paintings and assemblages. He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him. He also leaves behind fans all over the world. He will be greatly missed..”
