Beware of Pete Townshend!

Some Miami residents were treated to an advisory sent out by Protect Our Children, Inc. warning them about an alleged child predator: Pete Townshend, guitarist from the rock band The Who.

Why are they targeting Townshend? In 2003, he was placed on a UK sex-offender list for charges related to online child pornography. The Who will be in Miami on February 7th to play during Superbowl half-time.

GOP Talking heads insult Chicago in days leading up to IOC Olympic vote

Dallas Cowboy Competes in “Black Olympics”

Dallas Cowboys’ Tight-End Martellus Bennett and his brother Michael, a free-agent with Seattle, like to make funny videos. Martellus even has his own YouTube channel “Marty B TV“.

Recently one of his home made videos has been under fire in the news. In a video called “Black Olympics”, Martellus and Michael stage fried-chicken eating, kool-aide drinking, and watermelon eating contests. Some people are calling him a “racist”, but he scoffs at that label, stating, “They call me a racist? Come on now. I love all races – black people, white people, green people, purple people eaters. I like ’em all.”

Boxing Champ Arturo Gatti Murdered in Brazil

Arturo Gatti was blugeoned and strangled in his hotel room in Sao Paulo. The 37 year-old former boxing champ and his wife Amanda Rodrigues (23) were on their second honeymoon in Brazil with their 1 year-old son. Rodrigues has been detained as a suspect.

Quarterback Steve McNair Murdered

Former Tennesee Titans quarterback Steve McNair and an unidentified female were shot and killed in Nashville, Tennesee.


Police said McNair suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville.

WTVF reported the incident happened at 2nd South & Lea Ave. in Nashville.

Police said it looked like a double homicide. A female victim was also found dead.

McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL for the Houston Oilers, Tennesee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. He played in college at Alcorn State.

RIP Greg Page – Former Heavyweight Boxing Champ

Ex-Boxing champ Greg Page has died at the age of 50 from complications related to injuries he suffered in a 2001 fight against 24 year-old Dale Crowe at Peels Palace near Cincinnati.

Page was the National Golden Gloves heavyweight champion in 1978 when he was just 20 years old.
