OBAMA REFUSES TO ACT ON CLEMENCY REQUEST FOR CHARLES MANSON

Manson Attorney Claims Tex Watson Was Behind Tate, LaBianca Murders

LONDON, England – In response to a request for clemency for Charles Manson by defense attorney Giovanni Di Stefano, the United States Department of Justice on behalf of President Barack Obama stated, “The President does not seek to intervene in State clemency issues,” and suggested that the request be sent instead to the current California Governor, Jerry Brown.

Speaking from the Royal Courts of Justice in London, Di Stefano stated, “President Obama has the powers under the 14th Amendment and I duly notified President Obama on the 28th February 2011 with detailed submissions. This matter must now be resolved by the Supreme Court.” Di Stefano continued, “Mr. Manson has already served over 42 years and on the basis he is erroneously convicted. He should not be subject to a day further of liberty detained. Mr. Manson has spent enough time in custody, therefore this matter is urgent and cannot be delayed further.”

Di Stefano’s main complaint is that evidence was withheld and that it was, in fact, Tex Watson who masterminded and perpetrated both the Tate and LaBianca murders. The complaint states, “There is now evidence from a California Police Officer that Tex Watson may well have committed murder some nine months prior to any of the killings which if correct would destroy the theory of the Prosecutor that the co-defendants murdered by the mind control of the Applicant.”

Allegedly, this new evidence ties Tex Watson to the murder of an elderly man Karl Stubbs in Olancha, California before Watson was involved with Manson.

Manson is now represented in his appeal by London-based lead attorney Giovanni Di Stefano and Zurich-based US attorney Mitch Watkins.

Ex-Manson Family member Susan Atkins aka Sadie Mae Glutz has died at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla. She was 61 years old.

Atkins had suffered from terminal brain cancer, and had previously attempted to gain a compassionate release from prison where she was serving a life sentence for murder.

She was most notorious for stabbing 26-year-old pregnant actress Sharon Tate, wife of director Roman Polanski.

Susan Atkins Denied Release Again

61 year-old Susan Atkins, Charles Manson devotee and convicted mass-murderer, was denied release from prison where she is serving a life-sentence for her role in the Tate/LaBianca murders 40 years ago.

Atkins is suffering from cancer, paralysis, and last year she had a leg amputated. She was requesting a compassionate release so that she could die outside of prison. She appeared at the hearing in a gurney, bloated and weak.

“The one-time member of the Manson Family was wheeled in to the hearing room on a gurney dressed in a hospital-style gown, her face bloated and her head covered by a purple and pink knitted cap. The cross she once carved into her forehead as a sign of loyalty to Manson was no longer visible.”

Watch the video of her being coached by husband James Whitehouse in reciting the 23rd Psalm. It’s creepy.

Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme Granted Parole!

Posted in News with tags , , , , , , on August 5, 2009 by Ro

Fromme

Manson family member Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme will be released from prison on August 16 after 34 years of incarceration. She was serving time for an assasination attempt on President Gerald Ford.

“The president she once pointed a gun at has been dead for nearly three years, and her longtime idol and leader, Charles Manson, remains in prison.

However, Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme is about to get her first taste of real freedom in more than three decades.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Fromme, now 60, is set to be released on parole August 16.

Fromme is housed at the Federal Medical Center at Carswell, Texas.

For years, she was one of Manson’s few remaining followers, as many other “Manson Family” members have shunned him. A prison spokeswoman would not say whether Fromme continues to correspond with Manson.”
