RIP Jim Carroll… Author, Poet, Musician

Patti Smith and Jim Carroll

Artist Jim Carroll died on Friday of a heart attack at his home in Manhattan. He was 60 years old.

Carroll was known for his poetry and music. Leonardo DiCaprio portrayed a young Carroll in The Basketball Diaries which was adapted to screen from the book written by Jim Carroll.

Susan Atkins Denied Release Again

61 year-old Susan Atkins, Charles Manson devotee and convicted mass-murderer, was denied release from prison where she is serving a life-sentence for her role in the Tate/LaBianca murders 40 years ago.

Atkins is suffering from cancer, paralysis, and last year she had a leg amputated. She was requesting a compassionate release so that she could die outside of prison. She appeared at the hearing in a gurney, bloated and weak.

“The one-time member of the Manson Family was wheeled in to the hearing room on a gurney dressed in a hospital-style gown, her face bloated and her head covered by a purple and pink knitted cap. The cross she once carved into her forehead as a sign of loyalty to Manson was no longer visible.”

Michael Jackson to be Buried… FINALLY!

Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009. It’s September and he’s still on ice. 

Now finally some good news for Jackson’s carcass… he’s scheduled to be buried tomorrow in The Great Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.

Ryan Jenkins is Dead

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed that Ryan Jenkins, reality show star and husband/murderer of model Jasmine Fiore, was found dead in a motel in British Columbia.

“Sgt. Duncan Pound, spokesman for the RCMP’s federal border integrity program said the police force “is able to confirm that a deceased person that was found in a motel in Hope, B.C., is in fact Ryan Jenkins.” He said it appears as if Jenkins took his own life.”

Murdered Model Jasmine Fiore Wanted to Sing, Too. Audio Included.

Jasmine Fiore, murdered wife of reality show star Ryan Jenkins, was an aspiring model and actress. So it’s not a big surprise that she wanted to sing, too.

Going by the name Jaz, Fiore’s vocals can be heard on GarageBand.com, where she “sang” as part of the dance/electronica group Machines of Joy.

By “ethereal female vocals” I think they mean “shitty auto-tuned vocals”, because people only use auto-tune to cover the fact that they can’t sing. Yes Kanye, this means you too.

Omer Bhatti: Michael Jackson’s Son? Or Victim?

Remember Omer Bhatti? The 25 year-old who sat with the Jackson Family during Michael Jackson’s funeral? The press has been quick to speculate that Omer is Michael’s illegitimate love-child, and of course, the crackass patriarch of the Jackson clan Joe Jackson fueled rumors by making this statement:

“Asked if he knew Bhatti was Jackson’s son, Joe Jackson said, “Yes, I knew he had another son, yes I did.””

Even though according to Omer himself, he is not blood-related to the Jacksons.

““Michael always used to say I was like a son to him,” he said. “But my true parents are in Norway. The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael’s closest friend – not because I am his son.””

On how a kid from Norway became close to the pop superstar:

“Jackson was so taken with Omer, who he dubbed “Little Michael,” that he had the adolescent boy, his mother, father and sister move to L.A. with him immediately.

Michael gave Omer’s mum Pia a job as a nanny for his son Prince Michael and employed dad Huayoun as a driver. Meanwhile, he and Omer grew very, very close.”

Finally, The Daily Mirror spoke to one of Omer’s childhood friends, who stated that Omer was one of the children who shared a bed with Jackson on many occasions.

“Another of Omer’s friends, Ricky Harlow, also reveals how Omer’s bond with Jackson grew so strong that he shared the star’s bed – while his family stayed in a cottage in a different part of the sprawling Neverland complex.

Amazingly, the sleepovers took place at a time when Michael Jackson was still reeling from allegations that he had molested 13-year-old Jordan Chandler.”

Now I’ll summarize all of this… Jackson meets a young adolescent boy in Tunesia, and this kid is so awesome that Jackson moved the boy’s family from Norway to live on his Neverland Ranch, got them fluff jobs,  and kept the boy in his bedroom sleeping in his bed. Nope, nothing creepy or perverted about that at all.

Check out this video of Jackson and Omer on a jet-ski. On a non-related but still creepy note, Jackson remained fully clothed the entire time. Apparently he never broke character.
